- Masters of the Universe has a director: Kung Fu Panda co-director John Stevenson. Don't worry, it will be live action--not animation. My Take: I don't know about this... I used to watch He-Man every day when I came home from school, but I just can't see this doing well on the big screen. Conan with a vocabulary...hmmm....

- Scott Derrickson will direct Hyperion Cantos, a movie that combines Dan Simmons' sci-fi novels, Hyperion and The Fall of Hyperion. My Take: Um...combining two novels into one? How on earth will that work without losing character development and making fans livid?
